Singapore's Visit, Rosan Roeslani Brings Souvenirs For IKN

JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani revealed that there are two foreign companies from Singapore who are interested in investing in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), in East Kalimantan.

This is the result of his visit to Singapore.

The two investors in question are Sembcorp Industries Ltd and Raffles Education Center. Both expressed interest during Rosan's working visit to Singapore from 26 to 28 August.

"They want to invest in IKN because I'm also quite surprised," he said when met at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 3.

Rosan revealed that Sembcorp Industries Ltd plans to help the Solar Power Plant at IKN with a capacity of 5 megawatts in the first phase.

They want to invest in solar panels. And the investment is approximately 60 million US dollars, yes. As much as 5 megawatts. There are 5 to 6, there are two stages, "he explained.

Meanwhile, continued Rosan, another company that wants to invest in IKN is the Raffles Education Center.

The company will invest in the education sector.

But unfortunately, Rosan did not specify how much investment value the Raffles Education Center would spend at IKN.

"Then there is another one is the Raffles Education Center. They want to invest in IKN," he explained.
