Minister Of Industry Agus Gumiwang Opens Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2024

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia held Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2024 on 27 - 28 August 2024 at the Jiexpo Kemayoran Grand Ballroom, Jakarta. This event aims to become the main platform for discussions, innovations, and exhibitions regarding digital transformation and the implementation of Industry 4.0 technology in Indonesia.

Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita at the opening of Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2024 said the government had tried to migrate to a new method in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in order to work more effectively, efficiently, and productively. Ecosystems and collaborations in the business world. This is also aimed at strengthening sustainable economic development.

"I believe companies in Indonesia are able to increase competitiveness through transformation towards Industry 4.0 in the face of the era of technological disruption," he explained at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Tuesday 27/8/2024. By utilizing this technology we can reduce waste, optimize energy use, and extend product life, so that it can support our efforts in realizing a more environmentally friendly manufacturing sector.

"As well as being an innovator for an increasingly brilliant Indonesia, the Ministry of Industry and Naganaya are the Hubs for Indonesia's collaboration and progress," he explained.

There are several main activities that will be presented in Indonesia 4.0 Conference & Expo 2024 such as the conference on artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, blockchain, and other advanced technologies that influence the industry. This conference will also present an in-depth discussion session on industrial strategies and policies 4.0 in Indonesia.

Then Expo in the form of the latest technology exhibition and industrial solutions will be followed by various leading companies as well as innovative startups. There will also be a Training Clinic Coaching Session which will be held to provide practical skills in the implementation of technology 4.0. digitization.
