JAKARTA - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) will focus on accelerating the implementation of the Five Bold Moves (5BM) strategy, such as through FMC, InfraCo, and Data Center business strategies managed by the NeutraDC.
Telkom's Director of Finance and Risk Management Heri Supriadi explained that this year TelkomGroup is still focused on accelerating transformation through the main strategy of Five Bold Moves (5BM) serving the B2C and B2B segments to capture every opportunity that exists in the Telecommunication sector.
"As Telco's largest company, we have the opportunity to become a catalyst for the digital economy in Indonesia. In our opinion, this is important considering that the Telecommunications industry is evolving with very fast technological changes", said Heri at the 2024 Public Expose Live which took place online, Monday, August 26.
Heri explained that the Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) initiative, which focuses on the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) segment run by Telkomsel, is trying to accelerate operational efficiency.
In the future, Heri said TelkomGroup would maximize the synergy effect of FMC in Telkom's financial performance report, through uplift revenue, operating expansion efficiency, and Capex effectiveness.
Heri hopes that through this corporate action it can realize sustainable growth and increase productivity for the Company.
In line with the Company's aggressiveness in developing the Business-to-Business (B2B) segment, Heri conveyed that TelkomGroup, through its NeutraDC subsidiary, which is engaged in the data Center, continues to adapt and focus on creating sustainable revenue growth in digital connectivity, supported by the development of the Data Center & Cloud platform as a business enabler.
"Currently, the NetraDC plans to increase the Data Center capacity by 18MW for the Hyperscale Data Center Cikarang. On the other hand, the NetradC is also continuing the expansion of the Enterprise Data Center and also the Edge Data Center," he said.
Heri conveyed that the increase in Data Center capacity was intended to anticipate the increasing demand for Cloud Storage and Processing in line with the increasing need for Artificial Intelligence (AI).
As for now, Heri explained that the NeutraDC is also open to strategic cooperation with global partners to increase value as a center for the digital ecosystem.
