BUMN Bakti Volunteers In Banda Naira, IFG Brings Sustainable Missions In The Community

JAKARTA - Indonesia Financial Group, BUMN Insurance Holding, Guarantee, and Investment with its Holding Members implements a sustainable spirit by holding the Batch VI BUMN (RBB) Volunteer Program in Banda Naira, Maluku Province.

By carrying the theme Bakti for Heaven from the East,' the program focuses on four main fields, namely environmental, education, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and health. The four fields are directly related to the pulse of people's sustainable lives, because they target vital areas related to people's lives.

In collaboration with the Banda Neira Subdistrict Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), the activity lasted for 2 days, from 15 - 17 August 2024, involving four Holding Members. PT Jasa Raharja is the main organizer, while IFG, PT Jamkrindo, PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo), PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) is a supporter.

Present at the event were Dewi Aryani Suzana, Operations Director of PT Asuransi Losses Jasa Raharja, Dewi Utari, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia, Ryan Diastana Firman, Finance Director of PT Asuransi Jiwa IFG who also represented BUMN Muda (Chief of Research and Policy BUMN Muda).

Director of Human Resources IFG Rizal Ariansyah explained that the participation of IFG and Holding Members in this activity was part of a commitment to support the implementation of AKHLAK values in the community.

"We provide full support for the implementation of this program and hope that our contribution can strengthen the commitment of the Ministry of SOEs who are present to have a real and positive impact on the community," said Rizal, in a written statement, Friday, August 23.

Previously, SOE Minister Erick Thohir emphasized that the RBB program was in line with the spirit to strengthen the implementation of AKHLAK directly in the community. This affirmation was conveyed at the time of the announcement of the BUMN Bakti Volunteer program through the official SOE Human Capital Information System (HCIS) website and the official social media of the Ministry of SOEs.

"The implementation of the AKHLAK core value for BUMN employees must be seen in the community. This Bakti Volunteer Program must continue to be encouraged so that people also feel that SOEs are present and have a positive impact on improving welfare, knowledge, and economic improvement in their environment," said SOE Minister Erick Thohir.

As is known, apart from IFG and Holding Members, 10 selected BUMN employees were also present, including PT Waskita Karya, PT Wijaya Karya, PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional, Perum BULOG, PT Angkasa Pura II, PT PLN, PT Telkom, PT Sarinah, PT Pegadaian and PT Bank BTN. Their involvement is focused on the development of MSMEs, environmental protection, as well as improvements in the fields of education and health.

Rizal added that this year's RBB implementation includes several activities, including making trash cans from bamboo, cleaning beaches at the Banda Sea Waters Tourism Park, as well as building mini palaces for the location of the ceremony.

In addition, there are training for Emergency First Aid (PPGD), digital marketing training for MSMEs, Teaching Volunteers activities at SD 92 Banda and MIS Al Hilal Naira, as well as providing healthy food for toddlers and pregnant women, processing plastic waste, and planting trees.

"This program opens up opportunities for SOE people to implement AKHLAK values in the community by being directly involved in various activities. I also want to express my gratitude to all parties who have contributed to the success of this program. In the future, I hope that similar activities can continue to be carried out and provide sustainable benefits for the community," concluded Rizal.
