Retail Entrepreneurs Make Sure The Delivery Of Food And Beverage Trucks To IKN Is Carried Out In September

The Indonesian Shopping Center Retailer & Tenants Association (Hippindo) has confirmed that it will send food trucks or food trucks to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) in September.

Chairman of Hippindo Budihardjo Iduansjah said his party would send 15 food trucks to the new capital city.

"So, we will send it after 17 (August) because it is prioritized now to go to the ceremony. We, right, want to send 15 trucks multiplied by 4 people, so 60 people. We certainly can't (now) because now the accommodation is full," said Budihardjo to VOI when met in the Sarinah area, Jakarta, Saturday, August 17.

"Maybe September, yes," he continued.

Budihardjo said that food trucks sent to Nusantara provided that they could be done after the situation there was conducive.

"So after the August 17 event is over, everyone will go home. If the situation is under control, we will send a food truck later to support ASN who work there. Like coffee, minimarkets or food, we will try to send it," he said.

When asked about the delivery of food trucks, it would go hand in hand with the transfer of ASN to IKN, Budihardjo confirmed this.

"Yes, gradually. At least our employees, tuh, those who work (at IKN) can have temporary residences. Because (if it is done now) there is a crowd, there is a ceremony. Anyway, in the 9th month we will try," he added.

Meanwhile, Hippindo stated that it is ready for expansion to IKN in East Kalimantan (Kaltim). This is in line with the plan to move the capital city from Jakarta to the area there.

Budihardjo said that his party had held an internal discussion with the IKN Authority regarding retailer support there.

The reason is, currently there are no malls operating there, Hippindo is ready to provide support in the form of food trucks or food trucks.

"Yes, we have been summoned (OIKN). If it is ready, yes, we will send it to you first, maybe a food truck to eat and drink. Small things don't go directly to the mall," Budihardjo told reporters, quoted Thursday, July 18.
