The Ministry Of PUPR Continues To Complete ASN Residential Support Facilities At IKN

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) through the Directorate General of Housing continues to complement infrastructure and supporting facilities in vertical housing that will be inhabited by State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who work in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

"We continue to strive so that the housing that will be occupied by ASN is ready to be occupied and complete with supporting facilities, for example with a retail network, means of shipping goods and banking," said Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Thursday 15 August.

In addition to building residential units that carry the concept of a smart home, the Ministry of PUPR is also working with a number of partners to fulfill supporting facilities such as retail networks, expeditions as well as communal spaces and joint spaces that can be used by ASN.

Iwan hopes that the vertical housing built for ASN in IKN will also be able to revive the ecosystem in the surrounding environment. Thus, ASN can be more comfortable while living and serving in IKN.

The Ministry of PUPR has built an ASN Flat which is equipped with furniture and the use of smart residential technology or smart home system.

Around the Rusun neighborhood, there are also a number of other facilities such as a comfortable chatting place, a place to sell, a place to start a business that can synergize and make it easier for residents to move.

There are also a number of outlets that have entered the ASN Flats, including Indomaret, Pos Indonesia, BNI Digital Banking Cafe and others. Hopefully this ASN Residential and supporting facilities can provide many benefits and dispel doubts for ASN who will live here," said Iwan.

Based on data from the Directorate General of Housing, Ministry of PUPR, the company managing the Indomaret retail network, namely PT Indomarco Prismatama, has expanded their outlets at IKN.

This year, the first Indomaret outlet, which is located in the IKN 2 Workers Residential, was inaugurated on Sunday, August 11, 2024, and the second outlet in the ASN 4 Flat was also inaugurated by the Director General of Housing on August 12, 2024.

The existence of Indomaret outlets is a form of commitment to grow the ecosystem in the residential development process as well as to assist employees or workers in meeting their daily needs with product differentiations that are more in accordance with the needs of IKN development projects.

In addition, there is also a Pos Indonesia outlet located in the lobby of the ASN 1 Tower B Flats. The existence of Pos Indonesia outlets can certainly make it easier for ASN employees who move to IKN in transactions of goods or documents quickly and precisely.

In addition, the Ministry of PUPR in collaboration with Bank BNI has also prepared an aesthetic gathering place that is no less exciting, namely the BNI Digital Banking Cafe.

The opening of BNI Digital Banking Cafe at IKN is a form of BNI's commitment to continue to innovate and support IKN development through digital banking services. BNI Digital Banking Cafe carries the first digital concept to come with an innovative and full digital concept, combining public space convenience with the latest digital banking facilities.

"Customers and the surrounding community, especially state civil servants (ASN), who live in the IKN area can easily access various banking services safely and comfortably," said Iwan.
