PGN Supply 18 BBTUD Natural Gas To Solar Panel Resulting Industry

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) signed a Supply Integrity Agreement Agreement with PT Xinyi Solar Indonesia (XSI). At the same time, PGN handed over the Natural Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJBG) contract to XSI.

In the PJBG, PGN and XSI are committed to utilizing natural gas to reach the contract value of 18 BBTUDs during the agreed period between the two parties. Meanwhile, XSI, located in the Gresik JIIPE Special Economic Zone, is a leading solar panel glass producer in the global market.

PGN Commercial Director Ratih Esti Prihatini said that PGN is committed to providing reliable natural gas services and distribution to XSI.

"Hopefully this collaboration can continue to be improved by helping customers in providing good energy, namely natural gas as environmentally friendly energy. We will maintain the quality of gas services so that we can always support XSI production activities," said Ratih, Thursday, August 15.

XSI General Manager Wang Ranchun conveyed that PGN can maintain the sustainability of natural gas supply so that it can support operational activities in their company.

"We hope that this future cooperation plan can be two mutually beneficial things," said Wang.
