Beware Of Fraud Under The Guise Of KAI Recruitment!

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI reminded the public to continue to be aware of all forms of fraud using the recruitment mode that uses the name KAI.

KAI's appeal was to respond to a hoax in the form of fake letters related to the selection call to become a candidate for KAI employees that had recently been circulating, or to be precise on August 10, 2024.

KAI's VP of Public Relations Anne Purba firmly emphasized that the letter was fake and not an official summons from the company.

"We regret the irresponsible actions on behalf of KAI recruitment. The public is expected to be more thorough and critical if they get messages in the form of announcements of recruitment or invitations to conduct selection with additional requirements such as providing accommodation and transportation," he said in an official statement, Sunday, August 11.

Anne emphasized that KAI has never made an invitation letter for recruitment that requires participants to use certain hotels and transportation that have been provided.

Furthermore, Anne said all KAI recruitment information fully uses the official website with the e-recruitment.kai.id address and official social media of the company @kalapikita or @kai121.

"If you find recruitment info that is not sourced from the site, so that people can ignore it," said Anne.

Anne also added that KAI has never processed recruitment through correspondence, either sending files that are deposited through someone or via email.

In addition, continued Anne, KAI does not charge any applicants, and has never collaborated with travel agents in the worker selection process.

"If you find in doubt information, the public can immediately contact the KAI Contact Center by telephone in 121, WhatsApp [phone], email [email protected], or KAI121 social media to get official information about KAI," concluded Anne.
