Pertamina Drilling Successfully Resolved Wells With 1,000 BOPD Results

PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (Pertamina Drilling), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) has succeeded in producing more than 1,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) through drilling operation Rig PDSI#51.2/PD550-M.

The achievement of oil production is the result of the production of Sumur Pinang (PN)-066 which is located in the Rokan Working Area (WK) owned by PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR). Operating since the PN-066 Well Test on July 12, 2024, with a drilling target of 16 days, Rig PDSI#51.2 successfully produced oil of 1,134 BOPD.

"PN-066 Well Production touched above 1,000 BOPD. Thank you for the contribution so that the PN-066 Well can be drilled safely and exceed the production target," said Pertamina Drilling Rig Operation I Manager Zainal Arifin, Friday, August 9.

During its operation, Rig PDSI#51.2 managed to record a Safe Man Hours of 833,478 working hours safely.

For information, the PDSI#51.2 rig is a Fast-moving Type Rig with a capacity of 550 horsepower (HP) which contributed to the achievement of PHR production in 2023 and also won the 2nd Best Performance award in the Drilling Rig and Best Rig/Hoist Performance categories last February for its operational performance throughout 2023.
