Welcoming RI's 79th Anniversary, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Gives 21 Percent Discount On Train Ticket Prices

JAKARTA - KAI Daop 1 Jakarta offers discounted rates to customers in order to welcome the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. This time, the theme that was carried was Panjat Pinang or the discounted climbing, fortunately.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, the discounted "Panjat Pinang" includes two promos with different discounts. First, the Flash Sale Promo Program which offers discounts of up to 50 percent.

"Second is Pinang Promo where passengers only need to pay 79 percent of the ticket price, or get a discount of 21 percent," he said in an official statement, Friday, August 9.

Ixfan said that apart from enlivening the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the 'Panjat Pinang' discount also aims to increase public interest in using rail transportation services.

A. Flash Sale:

1. Purchases can only be made in the Access by KAI application on August 13, 2024 at 12.00 to 13.00 WIB;

2. The discount rate applies to departures from August 17 to 31, 2024;

3. The discount rate only applies to designated trains;

4. The discount rate applies partially;

5. Discounts do not apply at special rates and cannot be combined with reductions and/or other discounts;

6. Tickets with this discounted rate can be canceled and rescheduled according to applicable regulations; and

7. Tickets with this discount rate can be accessed as long as the promo quota is still available.

B. Pinang Promo:

1. Promo Paying Program Only 79 percent.

2. Purchases can be made on the official sales channel 7 (except for counters and box counters) from 16 to 18 August 2024;

3. The discount rate applies to departures from August 17 to 31, 2024;

4. The discount rate only applies to designated trains;

5. The discount rate applies partially;

6. Discounts do not apply at special rates and cannot be combined with reductions and/or other discounts;

7. Tickets with this discounted rate can be canceled and rescheduled according to applicable regulations; and

8. Tickets at this discount rate can be accessed as long as the promo quota is still available.
