JAKARTA - The Ministry of Industry through the Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency (BSKJI) has industrial air quality monitoring tools through the Flat Test tool.
The Flat Test Tool belongs to the Semarang Center for Standardization and Industrial Pollution Prevention Services (BBSPJPPI) which is expected to be used to monitor air quality in the industrial environment.
The hope is that this environmental monitoring activity can be reached for industries throughout Indonesia, including the need to explore this service for the eastern region industry.
"The importance of innovation and applicational services provided by BSKJI for industry and society, aims to reduce the negative impact on the environment while ensuring the fulfillment of industrial regulations. Thus, an environmentally friendly industry is realized," said Head of BSKJI Andi Rizaldi in a written statement, quoted Wednesday, August 7th.
Meanwhile, Head of BBSPJPPI Sidik Herman said, the procurement of this Rata test kit is a form of BBSPJPPI innovating in service development and responding to industrial needs in fulfilling PermenLHK regulation No. 13 of 2021.
"This CEMS monitoring includes ten major industrial sectors, such as smelting of iron and steel, pulp and paper, rayon, carbon black, oil and gas, mining, thermal waste processing, cement, power plants, thermal power and fertilizers and ammonia nitrates," he said.
He added that this BBSPJPPI Average test kit has a variety of superior specification facilities needed in the Rata test, such as the use of detectors and sensors that meet test method requirements, have the ability to measure up to twelve components of infrared and oxygen gas and can be done in real-time with long-distance access.
"With this Rata test tool, we hope to improve the quality of emission control in various industrial sectors in accordance with applicable regulations. Not only that, we are also committed to continuing to develop innovative new services to support the sustainability of industry and the environment. Of course, this requires the participation and cooperation of all parties," he said.
