JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) opened services on weekends or weekend banking at 568 branch offices throughout Indonesia during August this year.

BSI Corporate Secretary Wisnu Sunandar said that weekend banking aims to make it easier for customers to make financial transactions that require them to come to the branch office.

"Weekend Banking is routinely carried out to optimize customer services, especially in areas that have high transaction traffic for teller and customer service," said Wisnu in a written statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 3.
