Sido Muncul Raises Net Profit Of IDR 608.49 Billion In Semester I 2024

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) released a financial report (lapkeu) for the first semester of 2024. Sido Muncul managed to record a net profit of IDR 608.49 billion in the first semester of 2024.

In SIDO's financial report, quoted on Wednesday, July 24, it was stated that the net profit achievement increased by 35.8 percent compared to the same period last year with a achievement of IDR 448.1 billion.

For the second quarter of 2024 alone, SIDO scored a net profit of IDR 218 billion. Reduced slightly compared to the achievement in the first quarter of 2024 alone which amounted to IDR 390.49 billion.

As of June 30, 2024, Sido Muncul recorded a basic profit per share of IDR 20.28. It increased compared to the end of the first semester of 2023 at IDR 14.94.

As for sales, Sido Muncul earned IDR 1.89 trillion in the first semester of 2024. Up from the first half of 2023 with a figure of IDR 1.65 trillion.

SIDO's cost of goods sold increased from Rp776.25 billion to Rp792.88 billion. The gross profit in the first semester of 2024 was Rp1.10 trillion, higher than the same period in 2023 of Rp877.54 billion.

As of June 30, 2024, Sido Muncul recorded cash and cash equivalents of IDR 719.77 billion and total assets of IDR 3.82 trillion. Meanwhile, total liabilities of IDR 353.83 billion and total equity of IDR 3.46 trillion.
