JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has set the Reference Coal Price (HBA) as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 166.K/MB.03/MEM.B/2024 concerning Reference Metal Mineral Prices and Reference Coal Prices for July 2024 which was set on Friday, July 19, 2024.
In this decision, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif determined HBA in equivalence with a value of 6,322 kcal/kg GAR, a total of 12.26 percent Moisture, a total of 0.66 percent sulphur, and Ash 7.94 at USD 130.44 per ton. This number increased sharply from the previous month which was set at USD 123 per ton.
Furthermore, HBA is set for coal commodity I, in equal value of 5.300 kcal/kg GAR, total Moisture 21.32 percent total Sulphur 0.75 percent, and Ash 6.04 percent at 91.85 US dollars per ton.
This amount also increased from the previous month which was set at 88.65 US dollars per ton.
As for the reference price of coal commodity II in the equality of a value of 4,100 kcal/kg GAR, a total motion of 35.73 percent, a total of 0.23 percent sulphur and an Ash of 3.90 percent, it is set at 56.09 US dollars per ton.
