Aburizal Bakrie Conglomerate Children: 3.5 Million People Have Registered Mutual Cooperation Vaccination

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) noted that at least 3.5 million people will undergo independent immunization in the mutual cooperation vaccination program.

"In terms of companies, there are 3.5 million registered companies. We are sure that in the future there will be more," said Deputy Chairman for Organization, Membership and Regional Empowerment of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anindya Bakrie, in Batam, Riau Islands, quoted from Antara, Friday 19 March.

According to him, there are thousands of companies that have stated that they support the program.

"Of course we will data all of that and later will be verified by the government," said this son of conglomerate Aburizal Bakrie.

Kadin is working with the government to seek mutual cooperation. Kadin, he said, was working together to collect data on the parties running the program.

Kadin is working with Biofarma and hundreds of private hospitals across Indonesia to make this program a success.

"We are given the responsibility to help 20 million vaccines out of the total that the government has provided, which is 175 million vaccines," he said.

He hopes that the program can be implemented in early April 2021.

"Most importantly, these companies support mutual vaccination and this is a smart way to distribute vaccines well," he said.

He added, however, that the company wants healthy and productive employees to build the Indonesian economy again.

At the same place, Chairman of the North Sumatra Kadin Ivan Batubara stated that many companies have registered their employees to participate in mutual cooperation vaccinations.

"What is important, each business entity, business sector and cooperative understands, understands that our priority today is vaccination in order to get out of the problem," he said.
