PaDi MSME Transaction Reaches IDR 13.5 Trillion, Office Equipment Becomes The Most Purchased Product

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) noted that the transaction value in the PaDi UMKM application had reached IDR 13.5 trillion as of July 2.

Of the total, most transactions are in office equipment products.

PaDi UMKM is a marketplace that provides local MSME goods and services.

Purchases of goods and services are not only carried out through retail, but also business to business (b2b) between SOEs and MSMEs.

Expert Staff for Finance and MSME Development at the Ministry of SOEs, Loto Srinaita Ginting explained, the transaction value will still increase along with the ongoing activities of PaDi MSME Hybrid Expo & Conference 2024.

"The number (transaction) as of July 2, 2024, in the sense that an invoice has been issued, not just a transaction, it was recorded at Rp. 13.5 trillion," he said during a press conference in Sarinah, Jakarta, Thursday, July 11.

In terms of frequency, continued Loto, the goods and services that SOEs buy the most are office stationery (ATK), catering and snak, computer and peripheral electronics, procurement and leasing of machine equipment, as well as souvenirs and merchandise.

Then, continued Loto, procurement and leasing vehicles, construction and renovation services, event organizer (EO) services, procurement and lease of furniture equipment, as well as printing and media services.

For your information, the Ministry of SOEs is holding a 2024 Hybrid Expo & Conference MSME PaDi in Sarinah, Jakarta.

The event lasts for four days from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14 and is attended by MSMEs assisted by SOEs.

Loto targets transactions at the 2024 PaDi MSME Hybrid Expo & Conference activities to exceed last year which reached IDR 18.7 billion.

"So the hope is to get past that number. Hopefully in 2024, if possible, the number will be in the head of two, not one more," he explained.
