Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto hopes that One Map Policy Summit 2024 can be able to formulate a strategy policy for one map and completion as well as the policy direction of One Map Policy in the future.

"There are the first 3 agendas for the progress of policy one, the second is related to the completion of the discrepancy in the use of space and the third, the success of the one map policy after 2024," said Airlangga.

One Map Policy (OMP) is an effort to realize a map that refers to one geospatial reference, one standard, one database, and one geoportal, so that it can be an accurate and accountable reference in the implementation of various spatial-based policy activities and formulations, and can be used as a common reference in the preparation of policies related to spatial arrangement and utilization.

The One Map Policy is implemented based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 23 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 9 of 2016 concerning Acceleration of Implementation of One Map Policy at the Number 1:50,000 Scale Map Research Level.

The implementation of One Map Policy involves 24 Ministries/Institutions and 34 Provinces and includes 158 Thematic Maps which include Geological Thematic Information (IGT) Spatial Planning, Status, Potential, Economy, Finance, Disaster, Land Licensing, and Maritime Affairs.

As of March 2024, all IGTs have been compiled, then as many as 141 IGTs have been integrated, while 16 IGTs are in the repair verification process, and 86 percent of the Indicative Tumpang Tindih IGT maps have been synchronized.
