Pupuk Indonesia Ready To Cooperate With Naughty Distributors

JAKARTA - Pupuk Indonesia has prepared sanctions in the form of termination of employment for rogue kiosks or distributors who distribute and sell subsidized fertilizers that do not comply with the provisions.

Sales Manager of West Java & Banten PT Pupuk Indonesia Saroyo Utomo Winarno, in Karawang, West Java, Monday, July 8, said that there are provisions for distributors and fertilizer kiosks in selling or distributing subsidized fertilizers.

He said that his party strictly prohibits retailers or kiosks from selling subsidized fertilizers to sellers, distributors, or other parties who are not registered in the e-allocation or data on recipients of subsidized fertilizers set by the government.

"Subsidized fertilizer processing can only be done at official kiosks, to prevent subsidized fertilizers from being sold outside the provisions and designation," said Saroyo, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, July 9.

For this, he appealed to all distributors and retailers at the kiosk level to be orderly in administration and operational order.

Orderly administration means distributing fertilizer according to the rules and it is recorded in the report. Meanwhile, operational order means selling subsidized fertilizers according to the highest retail price and distributing them to eligible farmers or those registered in e-RDKK.

"If we violate these provisions, we do not hesitate to impose sanctions and even cut off employment relations with kiosks or distributors who violate," he said.

According to him, currently farmers who are registered as recipients of subsidized fertilizers in Karawang can immediately redeem their subsidized fertilizer allocation rations.

Meanwhile, based on data collection, the realization of subsidized fertilizer redeemation in Karawang has reached 36,308 tons or 42 percent of the 2024 allocation of 86,720 tons.

For the number of farmers registered in fertilizer recipients at e-RDKK who redeemed 55,886 farmers or 65 percent of the number of registered farmers in 2024 as many as 85,362 farmers.
