Improve Export-Import And Logistics Services, Government Forms INSW System

JAKARTA - In order to strengthen synergy and collaboration between Ministries/Institutions (K/L) for integrated public service efficiency and digitization in the export-import sector, the Government has formed the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system managed by the National Single Window Institute (LNSW).

Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Susiwijono Moegiarso said that the Indonesian government continues to strive to improve export, import and logistics governance in the context of efficiency of integrated public services in INSW.

"If we talk about INSW, I think it has been quite a long history journey since 2006, and I think the historical actors have also been here since the beginning. We should be grateful that this is one of the most important platforms in terms of the Government which has been quite successful, especially in integrating all services from all relevant Ministries/Institutions," said Susiwijono in his statement, quoted on Sunday, July 7.

Meanwhile, several strategic issues in 2023 discussed, namely harmonization of port/airport codes, establishment and strengthening of the Single Window Service Unit (ULSW), preparation of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for INSW services, as well as data and information governance.

"For those related to how we rely on INSW to become a platform that encourages digital transformation, especially related to export-import and logistics services. Earlier, the Head of LNSW, Bu Oza, had submitted the full report, the progress was very good, we encourage several new features to continue to be developed by LNSW and all related Ministries/Eligencies," said Susiwijono.

Then, the discussion continued with the proposal for strategic issues in 2024, including encouraging integrated Ministries / Agencies (K/L) to implement risk management in providing services and supervising using the Indonesia Single Risk Management (ISRM).

In addition, LNSW together with K/L to build an integrated communication channel to be able to provide comprehensive services to business actors, LNSW to prepare a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) related to the integration of SINSW and K/L services to prepare BCP for each integrated service in SINSW,

Furthermore, the affirmation of the position of INSW in the Revised PP Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing, as well as the affirmation of the position of INSW on the concept of Rperpres Logistics.

Then, the K/L representatives also expressed their appreciation for the performance of LNSW which has integrated business systems and processes from various K/L in the fields of export, import and logistics, as well as conveyed the progress of achieving strategic issues in 2023 and the discussion of strategic issues in 2024 in their respective Ministries / Agencies.

"At the very least, this INSW initiative provides us with testimonials that we can jointly integrate the entire service system, especially in the context of export-import services," concluded Susiwijono
