Bank DKI Subsidy 1,000 Food Packages For Provision Of Cheap Food In Jakarta

Support the realization of one of the sustainable development goals (SDG), Bank DKI together with Perumda Pasar Jaya held the distribution of CSR in the form of subsidies of 1,000 food packages in Bintaro, South Jakarta, on Friday 5 July.

The event was also attended by DKI Jakarta Governor Heru Budi Hartono, Bank DKI President Director Agus Haryoto Widodo, and Director of Property and Marketing at Perumda Pasar Jaya Aristianto.

Bank DKI President Director Agus Haryoto Widodo said that Bank DKI always strives to contribute to assisting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program in an effort to support the realization of one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) points 2, namely creating conditions without hunger.

"Through this program, it is hoped that it can have a positive impact on the welfare of the community, especially DKI Jakarta, in meeting food needs," said Agus.

In the event, Bank DKI provided a subsidy of Rp. 50,000 per package for 1,000 basic food packages worth Rp. 150,000 per package, which contained 5 kg of premium rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, and 1 kg of wheat flour, so that it could be redeemed by the public in the amount of Rp. 100,000 per package.

In this activity, in addition to distributing CSR in the form of subsidies for 1,000 basic food packages, Bank DKI also provides special booths to provide information to the public about products and services owned by Bank DKI.

On a different occasion, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi added that Bank DKI will continue to strive to increase positive contributions to the community through CSR programs in a sustainable manner.

"The CSR Bank DKI program is not only an obligation of the company but also part of Bank DKI's commitment to become a change agent that empowers the community and supports sustainable development in Jakarta," concluded Arie.

In addition to distributing the food CSR, on the same day Bank DKI also distributed 800 eggs to SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta as an effort to support government programs related to accelerating stunting reduction and implementing the Sustainable Financial Action Plan program of PT Bank DKI in 2024. The distribution was carried out in conjunction with the ceremonial establishment of the Pancasila Laboratory School at SDN Lagoa 07, North Jakarta.
