JAKARTA - Pertamina EP and Reethau Group through PT Pertiwi Nusantara Resources signed a Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (PJBG) to support the government's vision for energy independence.
"To strengthen the position of Reethau Group in the CNG world, Reethau Group through PT Pertiwi Nusantara Resources is binding on cooperation with KKKS," said President Director of PT Pertiwi Nusantara Resources Arry Pasya in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday, July 4.
In the agreement, it was stated that the agreement for natural gas cooperation was IDR 94.4 trillion. This cooperation agreement consists of 27 Gas Sale and Purchase Agreements (PJBG), 2 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU), and 1 Novasi.
"In the future, Reethu Group is ready to develop to support domestic CNG activities by targeting potential cooperation in other natural gas sectors," said Arry.
He added that the signing of the PJBG with Pertamina EP emphasized Reethu Group's commitment to continue to support the development of the national energy industry, especially in the compressed natural gas (CNG) sector.
On this occasion, Arry explained the success of Reethu Group in building PT Reethau Dharma Andalan's Mother Station in collaboration with BUMN Gas Transporters.
According to him, the presence of Reethu Group's mother station is a form of commitment to support the government in reducing LPG gas imports by utilizing Indonesia's natural gas potential.
