JAKARTA - President Director of PT Danareksa (Persero) Yadi Jaya Ruchandi revealed that currently PT Perusahaan Pengelola Asset (PPA) handles 14 sick SOEs. Six of them are threatened that they cannot be saved or rehabilitated.
Furthermore, Yadi said the six SOEs were included in the group to drink operations. The details are PT Indah Karya (Persero); PT Dok & Shipship Surabaya (ship budget); PT Amartha Karya; PT Barata Indonesi; PT Varuna Tirta Prakasya; and PT Semen Kupang.
"The minimum potential for the operation is actually more than likely we will stop. Whether through liquidation or disbandment of SOEs, it seems that the destination is there," he said at a hearing meeting (RDP) for the BUMN Restructuring and Restructuring Committee, at the DPR Building, Parliament Complex, Monday, June 24.
Of the 14 sick SOEs handled by PPA, continued Yadi, there are also those who have the potential to survive, namely PT Entrepreneurs of the Batam Island Industrial Region (Persero) or Persero Batam, PT Industri Kapal Indonesia (Persero), PT Dok and Shipships of Kodja Bahari (Persero), and PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero).
"Now there are only four who have the opportunity (to be saved)," he said.

Meanwhile, continued Yadi, four other sick SOEs still need further treatment. The SOE is included in this category with the potential to be saved by up to 50 percent.
The four SOEs in question are PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia; PT Primissima (Persero); Perum Percetakan Negara RI; and PT Djakarta Lioyd (Persero).
Yadi said the four companies had the opportunity to prove that their companies could be saved. For example, PT Djakarta Lioyd.
Currently, continued Yadi, PT Djakarta Lioyd is in the process of delaying the second Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU).
"We want to convey that this second restructuring must really provide opportunities for Djakarta Lioyd to develop again," he said.
