JAKARTA - PT PGN Tbk, as the Gas Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), ensures the availability and distribution of natural gas to the community in a safe condition during holidays and leave with Eid al-Adha 1445 H.

PGN Commercial Director Ratih Esti Prihatini in her statement in Jakarta, Monday, June 18, said PGN together with all its subsidiaries and affiliates maintain the safety of natural gas, both pipelines and non-pipelines, along with all its supporting services and infrastructure.

According to him, during the Eid al-Adha holiday period, his party ensures that the natural gas supply is sufficient to meet the needs of PGN customers, both households, small/MSME customers, power plants, industry & commercial, and transportation in various regions.

The security and feasibility of natural gas infrastructure is also maintained so that gas transportation from natural gas sources and distribution to customers is not hampered.

Currently, the number of household customers has reached 823,741 house connections (SR) and is spread across 73 cities/districts in 17 provinces.

Meanwhile, for industrial & commercial customers, PGN serves 3,133 customers and 1,987 customers of small/MSME customers.

For supply, PGN currently ranges from 858 BBTUD, which is safe to distribute to meet customer needs.

"PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina guarantees the reliability of distribution to support the activities of household customers and small customers who celebrate Eid al-Adha. Natural gas services are on standby 24 hours in case of obstacles in the use of natural gas. We also maintain the safety of gas distribution for the operation of commercial industries, power plants, and transportation," said Ratih, as reported by Antara.

PGN utilizes supplies from various sources and is utilized using active infrastructure, namely 13,005 km of gas pipeline networks, 13 SPBG, 4 MRU, and 3 LNG terminals.

Natural gas distribution activities to customers are currently in a safe condition in Sumatra, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and eastern Indonesia.

"PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina has a team that is on standby 24 hours and continues to coordinate with Pertamina as the oil and gas holding related to supply security and gas distribution. The team is also on standby so that in the event of a potential disturbance, it can be handled immediately," explained Ratih.

He continued that the complaint number regarding natural gas has now been integrated with the Pertamina Call Center at 135.
