Beware Of Running Out, Train Tickets For The Eid Holiday Sold Out 882,164

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI noted that the total train tickets for the Eid al-Adha long holiday period reached 882,164 FEes today. The occupancy has reached 92.52 percent.

KAI Vice President Public Relations Joni Martinus said that during the long Eid al-Adha holiday KAI provided a total seating of 923,518. This means that there are still around 41,354 seats available.

Meanwhile, KAI has set a period of transportation for the 2024 Eid al-Adha Holiday for five days starting from June 14 to 18, 2024.

"Update on ticket sales on June 16, 2024, the total seating provided is 923,518. Tickets that have been sold are 882,164 and passenger occupancy is 92.52 percent," said Joni in an official statement, Sunday, June 16.

Joni said that if detailed ticket sales based on the distribution of the train class, namely the executive, there were 231,639. Then, there were 31,130 businesses and 619,404.

"In the long weekend period of Eid al-Adha, KAI operates 1,849 train trips or an average of 370 train trips per day," he explained.

Joni said to anticipate a surge in customers during the Eid al-Adha holiday, KAI operates 30 additional trains to various relations on the island of Java.

"The favorite relaxation is recorded in Jakarta-Surabaya pp, Jakarta-Solo pp, Jakarta-Malang pp, Yogyakarta-Banyuwangi pp, Blitar-Bandung pp, and other relations," he explained.
