Pertamina Adds 3 Kilogram Solar And LPG Supply Ahead Of Eid Al-Adha

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased the supply of diesel and 3 kilograms of LPG (kg) considering that there has been an increase in community needs ahead of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri.

Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting said the increase had been anticipated by adding distribution to distribution institutions.

"For LPG 3 kg, an additional 11.4 million cylinders have been prepared and distribution has been carried out in stages from last week until the Eid al-Adha period. The distribution of diesel yesterday also reached 5 percent above normal," said Irto in his statement in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Saturday 15 June.

He said the addition was to anticipate an increase in fuel and LPG needs for 3 kg of people during the Eid al-Adha period which also coincided with the weekend.

Until the end of May 2024, it was recorded that the distribution of 3 kg LPG reached 3.37 million metric tons (MT), biosolar 6.9 million kiloliters (KL), and Pertalite 12.53 million KL.

In addition to ensuring the availability of subsidized fuel and LPG, Pertamina Patra Niaga also guarantees the availability of non-subsidized products, namely the Pertamax Series, Dex Series, and Bright Gas in all selling places and distribution agencies.

Meanwhile, Vice President of Corporate Communication of PT Pertamina (Persero) Fadjar Djoko Santoso said Pertamina is committed and always ready to serve fuel and LPG needs for the community, including the Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri holiday momentum.
