Grace Natalie Becomes Commissioner Of MIND ID, Staff Of The Minister Of SOEs: Already Passed Fit And Proper Test

JAKARTA - The Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga, opened his voice regarding the appointment of Grace Natalieie as the commissioner of the Mining Industry BUMN Holding, MIND ID. He said the appointment was made after going through the selection process.

The appointment of the former chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) was held at the MIND ID Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2023 Fiscal Year on June 11.

Based on the results of the selection conducted by the Ministry of SOEs, continued Arya, Grace is a figure that suits the needs of the company.

"We appointed a competent commissioner, and the process was there. There must be a process, fit and proper test, everything has a process, look for it according to its needs. Background, we take various backgrounds, that's what we take. So everything must be okay," he said when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.

Arya also said Grace was a competent figure to sit on the commissioner position of MIND ID. Therefore, he considered that the decision to appoint Grace to join the mining holding was the right decision to oversee the company from the media side.

Grace herself has a background as a journalist and is often a news anchor or nesw anchor in SCTV, ANTV to TvOne media.

"Grace Natalie is currently our mine, our mining industry managed by MIND ID, it needs people who understand the support of the media, the Timah case, the Antam case, it really needs it, especially in the future Freeport, and so on. It takes people who understand the media too," he explained.

Moreover, continued Arya, MIND ID is focusing on resolving various cases involving holding members through a media approach. For example, he said, the PT Antam case, which had lost the lawsuit against a conglomerate from Surabaya, East Java, Budi Said.

"Antam's example of being late is a problem when he lost against Crazy Rich Surabaya, opinions were built by them, and so on, losing to PK, but yesterday it was successful. The approach is an approach to the media that we do. Now we need people in this environment, "he explained.

Like the Timah cases, this is still a long time. This requires people who can later support them in supervision and so on, media matters. And I don't think Grace Natalie's mother needs to be doubted about that. So the mine in the future really needs people who understand that, and she can support them in guarding it for Mrs. Grace Natalie," he continued.
