Vale AGMS Sets New Directors And Commissioners. Luhut's Subordinates Become President Commissioners

JAKARTA - PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) held the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and appointed a new board of directors and commissioners.

This follows the 14 percent divestment process to MIND ID which caused Indonesia to become the largest shareholder in Vale Indonesia.

Vale's President Director, Febriany Eddy, said that the divestment process was actually ongoing and had to go through two processes, namely primary and secondary.

"We hope that all the closing of the transaction will be completed this June, after closing this divestment, the composition of the new directors will be effective," he said at a press conference in Jakarta, Monday, June 10.

Febriany explained, in this AGMS the shareholders set 7 boards of directors, namely the President Director who is still occupied by Febriany Eddy, Vice President Director and Chief Operation and Infrastructure Officer, namely Abu Ashar.

Then the Chief Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Officer was occupied by Bernardus Irmanto, who previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer. The position of Director and Chief Financial Officer is held by Rizky Andhika Putra.

Adriansyah Chaniago became Chief Human Capital Officer, Luke Mahony became Chief Corporate Strategy and Technical Officer and finally Muhammad Asril served as Chief Projct Officer.

Then in his board of commissioners, Luhut's subordinate Muhammad Rachmat Kaimuddin was appointed as President Commissioner from the previous position as Vice President Commissioner.

Just so you know, Rachmat Kaimuddin currently has a position at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment as Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination.
