"Especially rice commodities based on the consumption production balance for the period January to July 2024, a surplus of 0.65 million tons or 2.64 million tons lower than the same period the previous year," he said.

Meanwhile, continued Arief, based on the projection of KSA BPS as much as April 2024, the total production of rice from January to July was 18.64 million tons, lower by 2.47 million tons compared to the same period the previous year.
