Hutama Karya Targets The Final Section Of The Sibanceh And Kutek Rampung Toll Road This Year

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) will complete the construction of two Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) sections, namely the Sigli-Banda Aceh (Sibanceh) Toll Road and the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat (Kepat) Toll Road.

For the Sibanceh Toll Road Section 1 Padang Tiji-Seulimeum, the progress has now reached 86.89 percent. Then, the Kutepak Section 2 Toll Road (Indrapura-Kuala Tanjung), Section 3 (High Cliff-Serbelawan) and Section 4 (Serbelawan-Pematang Siantar) segment Serbelawan-Sinaksak.

The three Kutepat Toll sections are targeted to operate in October 2024. Previously, Section 1 (High Cliff-Indrapura) had been operating since November 10, 2023.

Executive Vice President (EVP) Secretary of Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim said his party was optimistic that it could complete a number of National Strategic Projects (PSN) according to the planned target to realize equal distribution of infrastructure development in various regions.

"To ensure that the projects are completed on time, Hutama Karya carried out a number of acceleration strategies to ensure the need for resources," said Adjib as quoted from Hutama Karya's official website, Saturday, June 8.

Then, materials and tools are met, controlling and evaluating targets intensely so that planning can be achieved according to schedule and coordinating effectively and periodically with stakeholders involved to help smooth the work.

This includes coordinating the acceleration of land that is still in process supported by the use of digital construction (digital construction).

Adjib explained that the presence of these projects will provide a number of benefits, including increasing connectivity and accessibility between regions and encouraging sustainable economic growth.

His party is committed to always prioritizing the Safety and Health of Work (K3) in every work.

"Ensuring that the infrastructure development produced is not only quality, but also safe for all parties involved and the environment around the project," he concluded.
