Commission V Of The House Of Representatives Confides That There Is A Project That Has Not Been Worked By Minister Basuki While Serving

JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus said, there is one strategic project that has not been completed by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono during his 10 years in office. The strategic project in question is a border parallel road.

"For example, the border parallel road. This is one that has not been completed in 10 years of Pak Jokowi's administration," said Lasarus during Commission V of the DPR RI Working Meeting (Raker) with the Minister of PUPR at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Thursday, June 6.

Lasarus said the project was still homework (PR) for the next government. "This is still our homework. Of course, we hope this program doesn't stop, sir," he said.

Especially, he said, regarding the border parallel road in the Kalimantan Island area. Lasarus claimed to be a member of the council from the area, Indonesia was far behind from neighboring Malaysia.

"Especially myself from Kalimantan, yes. Now that the boundaries of East Kalimantan reach North Kalimantan (Kaltara), we hope that this program will continue to be implemented, yes, so that this can be completed," he said.

"This concerns the spirit of the nation, because on the Malaysian side, we have seen that they are already ring road, sir. When we go to Malaysia, it's already from the border to the beach that he (Malaysia) can already rotate," continued Lasarus.

Meanwhile, Lasarus continued, from Indonesian territory, for the island of Kalimantan itself there has been no meeting point.

"While on our side, we have not even met between West Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan. I think this is still to be continued," he added.
