JAKARTA - PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) I (Subholding Supporting Co) Regional 4 targets sugar production of 8 tons per hectare to support sugar self-sufficiency in Indonesia.

According to him, specifically the Rojopolo HGU Lumajang plantation PTPN I Regional 4 was able to exceed the two-fold target productivity that had been set.
"In terms of taxation, the target of sugarcane productivity in the Rojopolo HGU Lumajang garden has the potential to reach 233.4 tons/ha with an 8 percent redemenation and projected sugar productivity to be able to reach 18.6 tons/ha," he said.
Deputy for Finance and Risk Management of the Ministry of SOEs, Nawal Nely, appreciated the increasing yield of PTPN I Regional 4 cane in the Rojopolo Gardens, namely yields per hectare have doubled before 2020.
