Sigit said that currently the world is being hit by three global crises, namely climate change, loss of biodiversity, and pollution. And we are aware that there has always been an impact of the business operations being carried out.

The chairman of the 2024 TOP CSR Awards, Lutfi Handayani, said that the theme raised for 2024 is the CSR & ESG Innovation Programs for Sustainable Business Growth.

In a sense, CSR and ESG are expected not only to provide social benefits for the community and the environment, but must be in line with business strategies, must support the achievement of business targets, so that the company's performance can continue to grow sustainably.

The theme aims to encourage companies to implement ESG and CSR by adopting ISO 26000 SR and ESG. Companies need to be more responsible for the impacts caused by business operations. If these responsibilities run, then many social-economic problems in Indonesia will be resolved automatically," said Lutfi, who is also the Chief Editor of TopBusiness Magazine.

Investors are now demanding companies to run ESG (environment, social, and governance). This also needs to be considered so that businesses can grow sustainably, care socially, and manage well," said Lutfi.

The TOP CSR Awards 2024 activity was attended by nearly 1,000 companies in Indonesia (long list of winning candidates). Then, there were around 190 companies that registered, and from there as many as 152 companies participated in the complete assessment.
