JCI Opens Down with 58.31 Points, 240 Shares Drop

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Thursday, May 30 2024 weakened 58.31 points or 0.82 percent to 7,081.91 at 09.12 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,140.09, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,140.77 and the lowest was 7,066.16.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.59 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 1.43 trillion.

There were 132 stocks rising, 240 stocks falling, and 180 flat.

The LQ45 Index fell 0.28 percent, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index fell 1.52 percent, the Hang Seng Index strengthened 0.21 percent, China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.28 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times weakened 0.01 percent.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) rose 200 or 2.92 percent to IDR 7,050, PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) rose 125 or 1.64 percent to IDR 7,725, PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) rose 125 or 1.37 percent to IDR 9,275.

Meanwhile, the stocks that are among the top losers are PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) down 600 or 4.55 percent to IDR 12,600, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) down 150 or 2.88 percent to IDR 5,050, and PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) fell 80 or 2.85 percent to IDR 2,730.
