There Is THR, Realization Of The ASN Pension Money Budget Increases 17 Percent Capai Rp68 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance recorded that until April 2024 the realization of the budget for retirees reached Rp68 trillion, an increase of 17 percent compared to the same period last year.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the increase in budget realization for retirees was due to a 12 percent increase in retired salaries which had been going on since early 2024.

"Then the pension THR is also paid in full, this is what causes the realization of pension spending to increase," said Sri Mulyani at a press conference on our State Budget, Monday, May 27.

The realization of this retired benefit channeled through PT Taspen (Persero) amounted to Rp49.7 trillion or grew 16.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, it was distributed through PT Asabri (Persero) amounting to IDR 7 trillion or grew 15 percent compared to the same period last year.

Lastly distributed to retired THR of IDR 11.3 trillion or grew 21.5 percent compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the increase in pensions is contained in Government Regulation (PP) Number 8 of 2023 concerning the Determination of Retirement of Civil Servants and Widows/Dudanya.
