Sri Mulyani Targets The Indonesian Economy 2025 At 5.5 Percent

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati targets Indonesia's economy to grow in the range of 5.1 percent to 5.5 percent by 2025.

"A higher and quality economic growth, which in 2025 is estimated to be in the range of 5.1 percent to 5.5 percent," Sri Mulyani said, quoting Antara.

The projected basis for economic growth is supported by controlled inflation, continuation and expansion of downstream natural resources (SDA), development of the electric vehicle industry, and digitization supported by improvements in the investment climate and quality of human resources (HR).

"This growth rate is expected to be a strong foundation for higher growth in the next few years," said the Minister of Finance.

Meanwhile, taking into account the risks and uncertainties in the global financial market that are still high, the yield of the 10-year SBN Tenor is estimated to be in the range of 6.9 percent to 7.3 percent.

The rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar is estimated to be in the range of Rp. 15,300.00-Rp. 16,000.00.

Meanwhile, inflation is estimated to be controlled in the range of 1.5 percent to 3.5 percent.

The Minister of Finance added, by observing the geopolitical tension that is currently still continuing, the price of Indonesian crude oil is estimated at 75-85 dollars per barrel; oil lifting 580 thousand-601 thousand barrels per day; and gas lifting 1,004-1,047 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day.

The 2025 State Budget is the last during the administration of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), while the implementation of the 2025 State Budget will be carried out by the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka governments as elected presidents and vice presidents.
