BP Tapera: Data Update Can Help Create An Effective Housing Market

JAKARTA - The People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) revealed that updating or updating data by Tapera participants could help create an effective housing market.

"This is one of the functions of BP Tapera to bring together supply and demand. That's why data updating is carried out by participants in terms of demand, the participant's need for housing is located where it is very important to meet the supply, namely where the housing location available is currently located," said Deputy Commissioner for the Deployment of BP Tapera Sugiyarto Funds in an online discussion in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, May 14.

Sugiyarto said that ASN who were Tapera participants needed to update the data, including the phone/cell number, the status of owning a house in their own name/pair, interest in financing Tapera, bank account number, account owner name, and bank name.

"Regarding the data on having a home and interest in financing, this is important because BP Tapera plays a role in bringing together supply and demand. This needs to be met, not to supply the house in area A, but demand or needs in area B," he said.

BP Tapera has applications such as the Developer Collection Information System (Sikombang), and other applications to be able to identify where the supply is actually and the desire of Tapera participants to own a house.

This is very necessary, so that the housing market can be formed effectively.

Based on BP Tapera data as of May 13, 2024, the number of active participants in the ASN segment was 4.08 million participants. Of the total, 1.23 million participants or 31 percent have updated the data, and the remaining 2.85 million participants or 69 percent have not updated the data.

"Only about 31 percent have updated the data. To get Tapera membership services, immediately update your data," said Sugiyarto.

He hopes that with Tapera participants updating their data, housing needs will be easier to serve and the most important thing is that the participants' savings can be returned quickly.
