Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto targets the government to complete 41 National Strategic Projects (PSN) by the end of 2024. The overall value of 41 PSN projects is IDR 554 trillion.

"Of the 41 PSN worth Rp554 trillion, it is expected to be completed in 2024, and then in the context of the construction of critical minerals there are 16 projects with an investment value of Rp248.75 trillion," said Airlangga in the National Working Meeting for Acceleration and Pre-Evaluation of PSN, Tuesday, May 14.

Airlangga, in total, cumulatively since 2016, there have been 198 projects that will be completed in 2024 with a total realization of Rp1,614 trillion. Namely 32 projects and 10 partially operational programs and 44 projects and 3 programs are still in the construction stage.

According to Airlangga, this has an impact on the National economy, namely the absorption of 2.71 million workers, and attracting an investment of IDR 3,344 trillion.

Furthermore, 10 projects are targeted for completion in December 2024, including 9 dam and irrigation projects and 1 project in the transportation sector.

In addition, Airlangga asked the Ministry of Forestry and Environment (KLHK) for assistance to complete the provision of land, the release of forest areas, and other administrative affairs.

According to Airlangga, another 16 PSNs involving financing from the private sector were taken because they were in line with the priorities of the intermediate government having a significant impact on the value of investment and having a clear plan.

The 16 new PSNs consist of 14 projects and 2 programs. The development of the new 14 PSNs was carried out in a number of areas, namely the Riau Islands, Banten, DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java, East Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi.
