JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is working on 12 projects in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN). A total of two works of the 12 projects undertaken have been completed, namely the Sepaku Segmen 4 and Multi-Utility Tunnel -01 (MUT) Ring Roads or multi-Utilities tunnels that are underground.

SVP Corporate Secretary of the Company Ermy Puspa Yunita said, with the completion of the 4.45 kilometer (km) Segment 4 Sepaku Ring Road (i.e.) complete support for road connectivity to the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) IKN.

"Waskita has also completed 100 percent of the MUT project work. This tunnel is built underground and city streets, where all electricity cables, pipes or optical networks are collected. That way, IKN is free of cables and networks that are hanging or implanted on soil that are not well organized," said Ermy in his official statement, Tuesday, May 7.

Currently, Waskita is working on 12 IKN projects with a total contract value of Rp. 13.6 trillion and for Waskita's own portion of Rp. 7.5 trillion. As for May 2, 2024, the progress of 12 Waskita's IKN projects has accelerated from last January.

Then, Jalan Feeder IKN reached 72.85 percent, the Office of the Coordinating Ministry 3 reached 64.14 percent, the Coordinating Ministry 4 reached 62.49 percent and the ASN 3 Flats reached 33.40 percent.

Furthermore, IPAL 123 reached 27.09 percent, IKN National Road Section 6C-1 reached 16.40 percent, VVIP IKN Airport Access Road reached 11.77 percent and 3B-2 Segment Toll Road reached 5.70 percent.

According to Ermy, Waskita Karya is committed to continuing to support infrastructure development in Indonesia through the construction of the IKN project. Waskita also supports the government in attracting more investment, both from the government itself and also the private sector by completing facilities and infrastructure at IKN.
