INKA Group Continues Exporting 'Batch 2' 105 Goods Carriages To New Zealand

JAKARTA - INKA Group, through its subsidiary PT INKA Multi Solusi, continued the export of 105 units of goods carriages with the "container flat top (CFT) wagon which is the "Batch-2" or the second wave of the 450 carriages project to KiwiRail, New Zealand.

Senior Manager of Public Relations and Representative Office of PT INKA (Persero) Agung Dwi Cahyono in his statement in Madiun, Saturday, May 4, said that the second batch of WAgon CFT shipments will begin on April 26, 2024 and will be sent in stages until June 2024.

"For then storage is carried out at the Surabaya Storage, which is planned to be loaded on the ship on June 6, 2024. The total order of the CFT Wagon is 450 cars which are planned to be completed in November 2024," said Agung, as reported by Antara.

Earlier on January 31, 2024, the INKA Group had sent 72 units of the 50Ft WAgon CFT ordered by UGL Rail Services Pty Ltd to KiwiRail, New Zealand, which included in the first batch of shipments.

Agung Dwi Cahyono explained that the collaboration between INKA and UGL was not the first. This shows that INKA is able to compete in the international arena.

"InKA Group's collaboration with UGL Rail Services Pty Ltd this year is not the first. INKA Group has completed orders for 262 CFT Wagon "Full Assembly" in August 2023," he said.

This, he continued, shows the existence of ongoing cooperation and good performance from INKA Group as a domestic rail manufacturing company in the international market.
