DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Appreciates Bank DKI As The Biggest Dividend Contributor BUMD

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Head of the BP BUMD DKI Jakarta Province, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Bank DKI as a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) DKI Jakarta which contributed the largest dividend for DKI Jakarta Province.

This was conveyed by Nasruddin when giving a speech for the celebration of the 63rd Halalbihalal and Tasyakuran Anniversary of Bank DKI at the Head Office of Bank DKI, Jakarta on Wednesday 17 April. The event was also attended by the Head of the BP BUMD Agency, Directors of BUMD DKI Jakarta, Directors, Board of Commissioners, and employees of Bank DKI, to the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners of Bank DKI for the 2006-2023 period, as well as representatives of retired Bank DKI.

Based on audited financial reports, Bank DKI in 2023 was able to record a net profit of IDR 1.02 trillion, through the decision of the 2023 Bank DKI Annual GMS which was held on March 22, 2024, Bank DKI has distributed dividends of 32.00 percent or IDR 326.44 billion from Bank DKI's 2023 net profit of IDR 1.02 trillion, or with dividend payout of 32 percent.

"I hope that Bank DKI's increasing profit and dividend increase will be in line with Bank DKI's performance to support the realization of Jakarta as Global City with innovative and adaptive banking products and services breakthroughs," said Nasruddin.

He also expressed his appreciation for Bank DKI which is always developing and on track to be the main driver in the synergy between DKI Jakarta BUMDs.

On the same occasion, Acting (Plt.) President Director of Bank DKI, Amirul Wicaksono expressed his gratitude for the support and trust from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and DKI BUMD for the good relations and synergy that has existed so far so that Bank DKI can continue to grow, Continued with Jakarta.

For information, this year, Bank DKI is 63 years old, which falls on April 11 and is commemorated with the theme "Growing, Continuing with Jakarta".

"The 63rd Anniversary of Bank DKI Grows, Continuing with Jakarta" is a reflection of Bank DKI's determination to continue to contribute to sustainable Jakarta development and is present as an option for the people of Jakarta City with various innovative and adaptive banking products and services, "said Amirul.

In the 63rd Halalbihalal and Tasyakuran Anniversary activities, Bank DKI also distributed a series of CSR program initiatives, in the form of business fund assistance to retired Bank DKI through the Probahtera program (Program Purna Bakti Sejahtera) which is an economic empowerment program for retired employees to start and develop businesses, as well as a form of commitment to developing MSMEs in Jakarta.

On this occasion, Bank DKI also provided Education Cost Assistance for a number of retired children who excel as a form of attention to the world of education, and are expected to maintain better future sustainability for children of retired Bank DKI. This educational fund assistance program is provided to children from retired Bank DKI for junior high, high school, D4 and S1 education levels.

Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi said that this business and educational fund assistance program is also one of the Social and Environmental Responsibility programs in the Sustainable Financial Action Plan (RAKB) of PT Bank DKI 2023.

Through the CSR program, Bank DKI not only provides financial assistance, but also as an effort to strengthen social infrastructure and education. Bank DKI also believes that this assistance is not just a form of concern, but is an investment for a better future for the whole community," concluded Arie.
