Pelindo Believes Port Services Are Optimal During The 2024 Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) (Pelindo) ensures that port activities run optimally, especially during the Eid holiday period 2024 or 8 to 15 April.

Pelindo Corporate Secretariat Group Head Ardhy Wahyu Basuki said the momentum of the long holiday has the potential to encourage an increase in the movement of people to travel by sea.

"The existing facilities at the port are optimized, human resources are improved and the latest logistics solutions are implemented to ensure service activities in all Pelindo operational areas run smoothly," Ardhy said quoting Antara.

Entering D-6 Lebaran 2024 or Thursday (4/4), Pelindo recorded that the number of travelers using passenger terminal services reached 546,261 travelers. The busiest passenger terminals, namely Tanjung Perak Terminal, Tanjungpinang, Tanjung Balai Karimun, Makassar, and Ambon.

"On the sea side, there are functional applications that are integrated with the Ministry of Transportation's Inaportnet portal, while on the land side (terminal) the Nusantara TOS (Terminal Operating System) and PTOS-M (Pelindo terminal operating system multipurpose) applications are available," said Ardhy.
