There Is An Increase In Traffic Volume On The Jabotabek And West Java Toll Roads During D-6 Lebaran, Here Are The Details

JAKARTA - Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division (JMT) noted that there was an increase in traffic volume (traffic) on D-6 Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri or April 3-4 period 2024 at the main 5 Toll Gates (GT) of the Jabotabek area toll road.

"A total of 209,608 vehicles or an increase of 7.60 percent compared to the volume of normal transaction traffic, namely 194,810 transaction vehicles leaving Jabotabek to Soekarno-Hatta Airport," said Marketing and Communication Department Head Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Panji Satriya in a written statement, Friday, April 5.

The traffic is distributed through two Toll Gates (GT) with the following details:

1. GT Cengkareng

The increase in the volume of traffic transactions at GT Cengkareng was 5.23 percent or 154,456 vehicles compared to normal traffic of 146,778 vehicles.

2. GT Main Object

The total volume of traffic transactions at GT Benda Utama reached 13.70 percent or 55,152 vehicles from the volume of normal transaction traffic of 48,032 vehicles.

Meanwhile, there was also an increase in the volume of vehicles leaving Jabodetabek to the south via the Cipularang and Padaleunyi Toll Roads.

The distribution of traffic to West Java is as follows:

1. GT Cileunyi Padaleunyi Toll Road

Jasa Marga noted, as many as 65,619 vehicles heading to Bandung or Jakarta left the Rancaekek, Garut and surrounding areas through GT Cileunyi.

"The volume of transaction traffic at GT increased 19.87 percent from normal traffic, which was 54,743 vehicles," he said.

Meanwhile, the volume of traffic transactions from the opposite direction or those leaving Bandung or Jakarta to Rancaekek or Sumedang through GT Cileunyi was recorded at 62,040 vehicles, an increase of 19.11 percent compared to normal traffic of 52,085 vehicles.

2. GT Pasteur Padaleunyi Toll Road

Meanwhile, the traffic volume of GT Pasteur (entered) transactions leaving Bandung was recorded at 58,628 or 5.81 percent compared to normal traffic of 55,408.

Then, the volume of traffic transactions on the other hand or vehicles heading to Bandung City via GT Pasteur (out) was recorded at 71,155 vehicles, an increase of 7.14 percent compared to normal traffic of 66,416 vehicles.
