SUKABUMI - There has been a landslide on the Ciawi Sukabumi (Bocimi') Toll Road KM 64 towards Sukabumi on Wednesday night, April 3, 2024. The incident had an impact on lane 1 of the Bocimi toll road road.

PT Trans Jabar Tol as the owner of the Bocimi toll road concession is conducting security at the scene and diverting traffic around the scene.

"Vehicles from Ciawi to Parungkuda were diverted out in Cigombong. Access from Parungkuda to Ciawi was temporarily closed to avoid additional landslide potential," he quoted a written statement, Thursday, April 4.

It is suspected that the landslide occurred due to water bursts due to heavy rainfall around the location.

"Currently, the management of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Waskita Toll Road are conducting a site review to ensure handling and see the condition of the entire Bocimi toll road," he said.

Previously, the Bocimi Toll Road, precisely at the exit of the Parungkuda Toll Road kilometer 64-600, was reported to have collapsed and caused a car that was passing through to fall and is currently still in a ravine.

"It is true that there has been a landslide on the Parungkuda Toll Road, precisely at KM 64-600 and officers are currently evacuating," said one of the managers of the Bocimi Toll Road.
