SUKABUMI - There has been a landslide on the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) KM 64 toll road, Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java to Sukabumi. This makes access closed.

According to information gathered, the landslide incident on the Bocimi KM 64-600 Toll Road occurred at around 20.00 WIB after heavy rains hit the area. As a result of the incident, a minibus fell into a landslide road.

PT Waskita Toll Road Corporate Secretary Alex Siwu said that the areas affected by the landslide were the I main road lane of the Bocimi Toll Road. As a result of the incident, the information was that one car fell into a landslide road area and is still being evacuated.

Anticipate the occurrence of unwanted things, access to the direction from Parungkuda to Ciawi is temporarily closed to avoid potential or aftershocks. Therefore, his party asked motorists to understand this rule for safety.

As is known, the Limited Waskita Toll Road (WTR) Company said that the landslide that occurred on the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) Toll Road KM 64, Ciambar District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java towards Sukabumi was caused by water erosion during heavy rains on Wednesday.

"It is suspected that the landslide occurred due to water bursts due to heavy rains around the location. Currently, the management of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Waskita Toll Road are conducting a site review to ensure handling and see the condition of the entire Bocimi Toll Road," he said.
