Maybank Finance Will Distribute Dividends Of Up To IDR 177.52 Billion

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Maybank Indonesia Finance (Maybank Finance) approved the distribution of dividends worth IDR 177.52 billion for the 2023 Fiscal Year.

The decision is as stated in the Decree of the Company Meeting No. 102 dated March 21, 2024.

"That all dividends for the 2023 Fiscal Year will be distributed by the company no later than April 18, 2024," said Maybank Finance Director Arief Soerendro quoting Antara.

The percentage of share ownership of the company, including PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII) is 99.99 percent and the Bank Employee Cooperative is 0.01 percent.

Thus, the two shareholders will each receive cash dividends of IDR 177.52 billion and IDR 5,000, respectively.

Maybank Finance disbursed financing of IDR 7.72 trillion throughout 2023, or an increase compared to IDR 7.12 trillion in 2022.

The company posted a net profit of IDR 443.79 billion throughout 2023 or a slight increase of 0.68 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the net profit achievement of IDR 440.46 billion in 2022.

The company's net profit was supported by revenue which increased 6.14 percent (yoy) from IDR 1.04 trillion in 2022 to IDR 1.10 trillion in 2023.

On the other hand, the company's total expenses also recorded an increase from IDR 469.78 billion in 2022 to IDR 528.03 billion in 2023.

As of December 31, 2023, the company's total assets were recorded at Rp8.08 trillion, an increase of 9.84 percent (yoy) from the previous year amounting to Rp7.35 trillion, with total liabilities of Rp4.38 trillion and total equity of Rp3.69 trillion.
