DGT Makes Taxpayers Easy To Report Annual SPT By Opening 1,743 Tax Corners Throughout Indonesia

The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) appealed to all taxpayers to immediately report their annual notification letters (SPT) on time. Meanwhile, the 2023 tax Annual SPT report has started since January 1, 2024 and will end at the end of March 2024 for individual taxpayers and the end of April 2024 for corporate taxpayers. The Director of Counseling, Services and Public Relations of the Ministry of Finance, Dwi Astuti said that until March 22, 2024, the tax corner opened for Annual SPT services amounted to 1,743 pieces spread throughout Indonesia. According to Dwi, the tax corner is located in crowded centers such as shopping centers, office buildings, and taxpayer business locations that have many employees. "We do this in order to pick up the ball so that people can easily report SPT," said Dwi in his official statement, quoted on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Dwi added that DGT has provided various facilities for reporting Annual SPT and, Taxpayers can also take advantage of SPT filling assistance services with various communication channels, both through social media interactions, online conversations, telephone calls, and coming to the tax corner which is opened in crowded centers. Dwi also reminded the public to be aware of the fraudulent mode on behalf of the DGT and the public so that they do not hesitate to contact the communication channel when receiving information that has the potential to harm taxpayers. Sebagai informasi hingga 21 Maret 2023, jumlah data SPT Tahunan Pajak Income (PPh) yang telah disampaikan berjumlah 9,6 juta SPT atau tumbuh 7,71 persen dibanding periode yang sama tahun lalu yang berjumlah 8,9 juta SPT.
