Jasa Marga Operates These Four Functional Toll Roads During The 2024 Eid Holiday

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) said, there will be 4 functional toll roads during the 2024 Eid homecoming flow.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said this was an effort by JSMR to support smooth traffic flow.

"For the functional toll road this year, the favorite is Jogja-Solo. This includes an increase in the length of the functional segment from Colomadu to Ngawen along 22.3 kilometers (km) from the previous Kartasura-Karaganom along the 13 km," Lisye said at a press conference at his office, Thursday, March 21.

Lisye said this functional route will be connected to Jalan Provincial Jatinom-Boyolali, then to Jalan Nasional Yogya-Solo. This functional line will operate from 06.00 to 17.00 WIB during the homecoming flow period (5-11 April 2024) and the backflow period (12-15 April 2024) and is opened only for non-bus class 1 vehicles.

"We have coordinated with the local police, until today (Jogja-Solo Toll Road) is planned (functional) on April 5 or 5 and there is already a schedule from 06.00 to 17.00 WIB. So, road users and travelers can plan their trip. So, at night this functional segment is not opened," he said.

The second functional segment is the South Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) II Toll Road, namely the Sadang to Kutanegara segment with a length of 8.5 km.

Lisye explained that this segment will be operated situationally according to the police discretion to support smooth traffic flow at the time of backflow, precisely from Bandung and its surroundings to Jabotabek via the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

"The South Japek II toll road is prepared functionally during the backflow because it is the left lane from Bandung to Jakarta, like the previous period which was opened if the traffic experienced an increase at a certain point," he said.

Third, Jasa Marga will operate an additional 1 lane (2 lanes) functional on the Palikanci Toll Road KM 208+150 to KM 210+190 (over 2.04 km). Finally, Jasa Marga will also operate the KM 99 Line A and B toll access functional for the Cipularang Toll Road, both in the direction of Jakarta and in the direction of Bandung.
