JAKARTA - The construction of the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi or Bocimi Toll Road Section 3 of the Cibadak-West Sukabumi section will begin in February 2024.
The toll construction began after PT Trans Jabar Tol, which is a subsidiary of PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR), received a syndicated loan of IDR 3.4 trillion from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) or SMI.
PT SMI also officially acquired 25 percent of PT Waskita Toll Road's shares on PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT) which is currently working on the Bocimi Toll Road.
Related to this, Spokesperson for the Ministry of PUPR Endra S Atmawidjaja targets that the toll road construction will be completed in early 2026.
"For the Bocimi Toll Road Section 3 itself, it will only be completed in early 2026," said Endra when contacted by VOI, Friday, March 15.
Endra said that currently the toll road construction has entered the stage of land acquisition with a progress of 88 percent.
"We will accelerate the land acquisition there so that everyone can be free. For Section 3 which funds SMI, the contractor has started working to mobilize in February. So, it has started work," he said.

He also denied that the Bocimi Section 3 Toll Road could be inaugurated after Lebaran 2024. The reason is, the construction process just started in February 2024.
"So, it is impossible to finish April (2024) because it has just started. This is, right, a continuation of Section 2 which was 11.9 km yesterday and for Section 3 this is 12.3 km," said Endra.
"For the Bocimi Toll Road, that's the status. So, what the Minister means is Cimanggis-Cibitung which will be completed in April," he added.
