The Prospect Is Bright, Central Bangka Seriously Advances Vaname Shrimp Cultivation To Tambak Rakyat

BABEL - The development of vaname shrimp farming is increasingly popular as a source of income for the community in the midst of weakening economic conditions. One of them is carried out by the Central Bangka Regency Government, Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

"Vaname shrimp power bodies have economic prospects and this is part of a solution in the midst of the current difficult economy of the community," said Central Bangka Regent Algafry Rahman, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 11.

The Central Bangka Regency Government continues to help and open up opportunities for the export commodity shrimp business to the community, especially those who are members of the group.

"This is not an impossible business, it is proof that the vaname Bepanen Continued Agrik (BLA) shrimp farming group, Tertang III Village, has succeeded in producing 700 kilograms in just 65 days," said the regent.

BLA, Tertang Village III, is a group of people's scale vaname shrimp farming which is fostered directly by the Central Bangka Fisheries Service.

"This is the first harvest for BLA and they managed to get a fairly large profit from the production," he said.

The Central Bangka Regency Government not only helps the people's scale of the vaname shrimp cultivation facilities and infrastructure, but also provides assistance from start to harvest and helps the market share.

"With this success, I invite other people, let's work on cultivating vaname shrimp and local governments are ready to help," he said.

The head of the BLA Kelang Village group, Tel Isroni, said that the first harvest of vaname shrimp this time was very satisfying and the party from the shrimp export company had contacted him.

"With this vaname shrimp harvest, of course, we are optimistic that this business has long-term prospects and one kilogram of our vaname shrimp will be released for IDR 45,000," he said.

With this price, said Isroni, he could get a fairly large profit and they plan to add one more pool tendon to operate.

"We started this from scratch and layman's knowledge, but with the assistance provided by the Central Bangka Fisheries Service, we finally understood and understood how to cultivate vaname shrimp and were able to harvest with very satisfying results," he said.
