BSI Predicts Gold Business To Be More Kinclong In 2024

JAKARTA - The gold business in 2024 is predicted to still have positive prospects. "The value of investment in gold products also continues to experience an upward trend, especially in the period where volatility in the financial market increases, gold is one of the options for safe safe assets instruments," said Chief Economist of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) Banjaran Surya Indrastomo quoting Antara.

In the midst of the dynamics of the economy and financial market, continued Banjaran, it is estimated that the gold price for the next three years will still experience an upward trend of up to 7-10 percent.

BSI has just launched the 'Gold Ownership Program', which is a Sukuk Seri SR020 bundling product with Gold Installment products, which then yields can be used for the BSI Cicil Emas program.

These products are intended for priority customers in a safe and sustainable investment planning and have many conveniences.

BSI Sales & Distribution Director Anton Sukarna said the 'Gold Ownership Program' is the latest innovation from BSI to continue presenting investment options for customers.

"The presence of Sukuk Gold Ownership Program is an investment choice for customers with various advantages and benefits. So that customers can make sustainable investments whose benefits are not only for now but also for future generations," said Anton.

The background for launching the program is because BSI is a Distribution Partner from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia to market State Sharia Securities or SBSN, Sukuk Retail Series SR020.

Retail Sukuk is free from the risk of default, having fixed coupon returns and guaranteed by the government. In addition to sukuk, BSI also has a Gold Cicil product as one of the investment products.

"As part of one of the instruments in wealth accumulation, gold is considered a safe investment to manage finance. Investing in gold is considered a solution to set aside emergency funds in the future because gold is quite liquid, easy to pawn, sell and apply universally," said Anton.
